One of the most important paradigms of our age, the field of communication is also one of the leading actors of social development and change. In today's world where communication technologies have developed rapidly and communication has become so prominent, it is important to melt art and communication in the same pot. Having the Communication Arts Department in Faculty of Arts and Design, which brings these two important fields together, adds value to our country. Within its multidisciplinary perspective, which has many examples in Europe and America and has just started to gain a place in our country, Communication Arts Department is working for our students to become equipped individuals with the education it provides in the fields of Radio and Television, Cinema, Public Relations and Advertising and Journalism.
Since its inception in 2014, Communication Arts Department has always carried out a student-focused approach to higher education and has succeeded in reaping the fruits of it with many achievements over time. Our students, who ranked 4th in the 5th International Green Camera Inter-University Short Film Competition and succeeded to the finals in the National Environment Short Film Competition, are just a few examples of these achievements. In addition, many of our graduates have already entered the media sector by working in national television channels and public relations and advertising agencies.
With its competent academic and administrative staff, our department is pleased to be serving to our future artists and media professionals and be able to contribute both to our country and our future by bringing together two vital fields of modern day, art and communication.
